Notice
The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, hereby revokes the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-010 and issues Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-011, closing the following area(s) to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, whelks and bay scallops:
- That portion of West Bay, Cape Breton (Bras D’Or Lakes) inside of a line drawn from grid reference 661982 / 5087192 on McKinnons Pt to grid reference 670267 / 5067040 on Cape George. NAD 83/Zone 20.
Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
