Preventing aquatic invasive species

We’re working to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species in Canada. Learn what we’re doing and how you can help.

Reporting an aquatic invasive species

If you think you’ve discovered an aquatic invasive species:

  1. do not return the species to the water

  2. take photos

  3. note:

o   the exact location (GPS coordinates)

           o   the observation date

           o   identifying features

    4. contact us (Maritimes) to report it
